My name is Annabelle Ballard (the title of this blog kind of gives it away)! Nice to meet you! I am a Melbourne-based barrister with a broad commercial practice, particularly interested in all things ‘legal costs’. I pride myself on combining intellectual rigour with a genuine passion for helping clients achieve timely, cost-effective outcomes. When I am not practicing or writing this blog, you can find me working my way through a good book.

I started Bite-Sized Legal Insights by posting about legal principles and cases of interest on LinkedIn. I’ve archived those early posts in their original form and re-homed them on the new “Bite-Sized Legal Insights” page.

Now, I share new and updated reflections there semi-regularly — when work allows — keeping things brief but meaningful. You won’t see commentary on my own cases: client confidentiality comes first.
